When proprietor, Sue Kumbera and her daughter, Dawn Courisky, opened Simply Sue's Café, they did so with the hope that customers would find in their made-to-order cafe a relaxed, yet elegant, atmosphere where a variety of breakfast, lunch and dessert items were offered at affordable prices. Located in Wildwood's Westridge Business Center at College Ave. and 109, Kumbera and her daughter developed a menu with both traditional, "just like home" recipes, as well as more creative fare to satisfy any palette. A few customer favorites include Sue's special recipe chicken salad, the Cranberry Club, and the scrumptious new TBCR,a sandwich featuring turkey, bacon, Cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing grilled on sourdough bread.
Courisky believes that Simply Sue's has been successful thus far also because of her staff's personalized approach to business. "Our goal is to know our customers by their first name so we can greet them at the door, know their favorite foods off the menu, and offer suggestions for items we know they'll love," she said.
The café itself features a deluxe coffee bar, (cappuccino, espresso, and other specialty drinks) and banquet room. The banquet room, with its French country-inspired decor, will perfectly accommodate bridal or baby showers, birthday celebrations and even business meetings.
